Ya Allah

You provided for me even when i shamelessly Disobeyed  


You protected me even when i hardly prayed,

You guided me not once or twice but EVERYTIME i strayed,

You gave me so much, but Alas! I was selfish and ungrateful,

My eyes could see Your blessings, but my heart was blinded with complains,

Oh Allah! You are ever so Merciful…


With this tongue that has uttered innumerous lies,

With these hands that have been tarnished with vice,

With tears overflowing in my corrupted eyes,

With pangs of guilt my hardened heart CRIES!!!


YA Allah forgive me for i have been a sinful slave!

Pardon me for being oblivious to all that you gave

Accept my repentance, I seek Your Countenance,

Your Blessings, Your Mercy and Your Love is all i crave,


Ya Ghafoor, Ya Rahmaan,

strengthen and beautify me with the beauty of Imaan,

purify my soul and enlighten me with the Quran,

Keep me firm on the right path,

I seek refuge in your pleasure from your wrath!

protect me from the fitnah of this world

and from all forms of excessiveness and pride,


Ya Kareem, Ya Raheem, I pray to be among the blessed ones whose final words testify,

as they take their last breaths before they die,

with all certainty they say that which has no ambiguity,

“there is No God except for Allah ,

and that Muhammad(peace be upon him) is His final Messenger”
