Salam Maulidur Rasul

Salam and good evening to all those who reads my blog...
First and foremost, I would like to wish all Salam Maulidur Rasul...

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Indeed, all praises are due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His Aid, and beg for His Forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil in ourselves and from the evil outcomes of our deeds. Praise be to Allah the lord of the worlds and we ask Allah to increase the honor of Prophet Muhammad and all the Prophets before him and to keep us steadfast to Islam. Amin.

In accordance to the Commemoration of Maulidur Rasul, I would like to share something that is so simple that we can all do even when we are busy and that is to give salawat to our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. It is indeed a simple action to show our gratitude and love towards him, for he is the most perfect example for all man kind, the bearer of glad tidings and also our teacher.
He has a profound love for humanity, even until his death he still called out ummati...ummati...ummati...
Ya Allah...I feel so sad...I have not been the best of ummah and I know I am still far from it, but I am trying and doing my best.

So let us all make the best of the birthday of our prophet by giving him salawat, reciting as much quran as we can and by loving him. How? To love we must first know...And our beloved prophet loves us, so why don't we love him back. Read and learn about our prophet for it is because of him that we are able to worship Allah freely and that we are born muslim...and if anyone would like to share anything on this subject, please do...
Allahumma salli ala sayyidina Muhammad!

Allah knows best.

Here I include the benefits of giving salawat to our dearest prophet peace be upon him.

Benefits of Reciting Salawat upon the Prophet
Undoubtedly Allah and His Angels send blessings on the Prophet. O' you who believe! Send upon Him Blessings and salute Him with all respect. (Al-Qur'an- 33:56)

(1) The one who recites Salawat once Allah sends ten blessings upon him, eradicates ten of his sins and inproves ten of his grades. (Mishkat)

(2) On the Day of Judgement the nearest person to me, from amongst the people, would be the one who would have recited Salawat the most in this world. (Tirmidhi)

(3) (Truly) a miserly person is he who (when) heard my name being mentioned did not recite Salawat in my favour. (Mishkat)

(4) You decorate your meetings by reciting salawat on me because your salawat would (turn out to) be the Divine Light for yourself on the "Day of Judgement." (Jamih us-Sahih)

(5) Recite salawat on Friday in abundance because it is the "Day of presence of angels (for witness)." On this day Angels present themselves (in my court). And undoubtedly when any one from amongst you recites salawat in my favour then before he has finished his recitation of salawat in my favour, his salawat reaches my court. (Jamih us-Sahih)

(6) In the magnificent night of Friday (i.e. the night between Thursday and Friday) and the luminous day of Friday recite salawat in my favour abundantly, because your recited salawat is presented to me (by the Angels). (Jamih us-Sahih)

(7) Recite salawat on the day of "Friday" and the "Friday Night" (The night between Thursday and Friday) excessively because who-so-ever does that, I shall stand witness to him and would be his advocate on the "Day of Judgement." (Jamih us-Sahih)

May Allah guide us to the right path and may we not go astray. Ya Allah, kau bimbimglah kami ke jalan yang benar dan janganlah kau sesatkan kami. Amin.
